Look, I’ll be honest, I think David Letterman is a genius and I have absolutely no reservations about continuing to enjoy him, while knowing full-well that he beds women on his staff.

I mean, that’s like deciding not to listen to Madonna just because she’s an incontinent primordial dwarf  gorgon vampyress she-goat sorceress who eats brains… It’s ridiculous and I won’t hear of it!

It’s bologna, and I don’t stand for bologna (10 extra points to anyone who got that reference…).

Anyhoo, apparently The Enquirer is saying that a surveillance camera at the Late Show studios recorded Dave banging some underling or something…

Keep in mind, this could be true, but you’d have better luck getting a reliable story from Ollie North… or a morally compromised monkey with a meth habit to support…

The Enquirer reports:

“A studio surveillance tape reportedly caught the 62-year-old star and a much-younger female co-worker in a compromising position

(The tape could end his marriage and) persuade worried CBS execs to hammer the final nail into the talk-show host’s late-night career – and could play a key role in the trial of the producer who allegedly tried to blackmail him.

“If the tape makes its way into the criminal case, it’ll explode his marriage to smithereens,” revealed a close source.

“It’s one thing for him to have publicly admitted to having had sexual relations with some women on his staff. It’s another to see him in the throes of passion with one of those women.”

I like how this could ruin his marriage… Dave held off marrying this woman for like 58 years…

I’m pretty sure he’d have to murder her family, nuke the universe, and eat their son before she’d think about splitting up… and even then she’d probably hire a mediator before making a snap decision…
