So, just today Reese’s people came out denying her engagement to Jake Gyllenhaal, ugh… Rumors of their impending marriage have been flying since she was photographed WEARING A FUCKING ENGAGEMENT RING (see above) and trying to hide it from the paparazzi…
Now, contrary to what their publicists might tell you, I keep hearing this is a last ditch effort to keep their engagement and marriage a secret out of respect for Reese’s family and ex-hubby, Ryan Phillippe… Oh, and to keep Jake’s single-guy status thriving to boost tickets of his upcoming huge budget film, Prince of Persia…

In the photo above Reese is wearing the $100,000 vintage engagement ring that Ryan Phillippe gave her. That photo is from a 2005 awards ceremony; she was married to Ryan at the time. The ring Reese flashed to TMZ that started the latest Gyllenspoon engagement rumor is a dimestore gold ring with tiny charms on it. Strictly a lame PR stunt.
